Renfe Over-60s Fare

Renfe offers up to 40% discounts for those aged over 60 with the Tarjeta Dorada. The card costs €6 for one year, €12 for two years, and €15 for three years. If you are travelling on AVE and AVE international trains, you can get a 25% discount. For Avant trains, discounts vary between weekdays and weekends: during weekdays, you can get a 25% discount, while on weekends, you can receive a 40% discount. Renfe Children Fare

Renfe offers 40% off ticket fares for children under 14. Children under four years old travel for free but are not permitted a reserved seat and must sit on the lap of an adult passenger. Please note that, on Cercanías trains, the age limit for free travel without a seat is under six years old.
