Skopelos Village Hotel

Loved my stay here. My room was beauty and very clean. Enjoyed the two pools with lots of sun lounges available. Breakfast was lovely and fresh and plentiful with gorgeous views to enjoy. I also had a dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed the seabream that had been caught that same day which was delicious and very fresh. The staff were all very helpful and attentive.

This small holiday village hotel is very well located about a 10 minute walk from the Town centre. It has great views across the Bay towards the town with a breakfast room/restaurant with excellent views. The staff were very friendly and helpful with a small gift provided on arrival. There are two small swimming pools and the grounds are well maintained . The breakfast was very good. We didn’t try the restaurant as, being slightly out of town it was very quiet with not a lot of atmosphere. The part that let the Hotel down was the room. It was spacious but constructed from raw concrete that was painted but with little by way of furnishings or pictures. It was rather like being in a concrete bunker. The accommodation was split over two floor with a very narrow set of stairs with no handrail and would be completely unsuitable for anyone with any mobility problem and was difficult to get a suitcase up. There is a kettle and small work top downs stairs, with a small fridge, but no water supply or sink meaning having to go upstairs to fill the kettle etc. The sink is in the bedroom with no sink in the bathroom, which was inconvenient. Bearing in mind this is not a cheap Hotel, it was very disappointing, which is a shame because with some attention to decor, room layout etc it could be excellent. We stayed in 3 Hotels during our trip to Skiathos and Skopelos, all at a similar price and in terms of the accommodation this was by far the poorest. Because of this we would not consider staying here again.

This is a wonderful hotel, I genuinely do not understand the negative reviews. We stayed in a 2 bedroom sea view suite, the same room Pierce Brosnan stayed in while filming Mamma Mia, the room was spacious, with plenty of storage and spotlessly clean. The view from the balcony overlooks the harbour and Skopelos Town, and was stunning. There was never an issue getting sunloungers by the pool and we went during the summer school holiday period. The staff made this hotel extra special, nothing was too much for them. From welcome drinks on arrival, to smoothies and fruit snacks handed out around the pool during the day. The hotel restaurant (Agioli) serves beautiful Greek food and I would I highly recommend. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, there was always fresh fruit, juice, Greek yoghurt, pastries etc plus hot items such as bacon, chorizo and eggs which were alternated throughout the week along with cakes and continental style breakfast foods. This is a beautiful hotel and we will most definitely be back.

we stayed at Skopelos Village Hotel and had a wonderful experience overall. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable with a truly spectacular view that made the stay feel special. We had the sea breeze suite on the ground floor. The staff was kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile which added to the warm atmosphere of the hotel. Breakfast was decent but could be improved with more variety, especially considering the price point, which felt a bit on the expensive side. On the bright side, I made plenty of cat friends during my stay 😅 which added a charming and memorable touch to the experience. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, comfort, position and great hospitality.

wonderful place to stay in Skopelos. Location is within easy walking distance of the town but just far enough away for peace and quiet. Rooms airy and spacious, clean and bright. Although it is rated as a 5 star hotel dont expect quite the 5 star service and facilities of most places however, unless you are specifically looking for that level thats kind of the point. Its homely and tranquil. The hotel is comfortable and so relaxing and the staff are so welcoming and natural. Always space around either pool and never felt busy. The prices of food and drinks are beyond reasonable and the standard of food excellent. Breakfast plentiful with fruits, pastries, yoghurt etc. although can become a little repetitive with the cooked eggs, fried or boiled, a fresh omelette option or variety would be welcome but thats the only small gripe. would happily recommend to anyone.

A lovely hotel within a short 10min walk from the port and ferry. The staff are very helpful and always accommodating. The hotel is classed as a five star although I would say it’s more a 4 star. Great location within easy walk of probably the best restaurants in the town. Our garden / pool view room was smaller than expected and could do with some updating. It would have been nice to have daily towel changes as you expect this from the hotel. Breakfast - beautiful view on the terrace and plentiful and varied. Pools were lovely. Overall, this place is definitely location, location, location. A great 4 night stay in a beautiful and traditional Greek hotel.
